ALICE COOPER is back in the States to continue work on the NEW album "Along Came A Spider" which will be released this summer....just in time for Alice's next WORLDWIDE tour which will start in July 2008 in Europe. Some new tour dates are posted now with more to come! And...The fourth annual MusiCares MAP FundSM benefit concert, honoring legendary artist Alice Cooper and renowned guitarist Slash, will be held on May 9, 2008, at The Music Box @ Fonda, 6126 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, Calif. All proceeds will benefit the MusiCares MAP Fund, which provides members of the music community access to addiction recovery treatment regardless of their financial situation. The benefit is sponsored in part by the Gibson Foundation. Cooper will be honored as the recipient of the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award for his dedication to and support of the MusiCares MAP Fund and his devotion to helping other addicts with the recovery process.

El lanzamiento coincidirá con el inicio de una nueva gira mundial que comenzará en Julio. El CD fue co-producido por Greg Hampton y Danny Saber en Los Angeles. El álbum sera conceptual y por los pocos detalles que Alice Cooper ha desvelado sera la historia de en un asesino en serie ficticio llamado Spider, que envuelve a sus víctimas en una red de seda. "Cada canción es una especie de carta a la policía", explica.
